Henry L. Fiore is a Pittsburgh artist, who is a self-educated artist, however, studied for a time with artist Raymond Simnboli.

Professional History

1980 Worker’s Artist Exhibit at the Court House Gallery, where his painting was chosen to hang in the Peoples Museum of Bulgaria.    Represented Top Notch Art Center by demonstrating watercolors at Pittsburgh Convention Center and A.B.Smith Company for Wattman Paper Company, and also Carnegie Museum.  He taught watercolor workshops for North Hills Art Center, Community College of Allegheny County and Citiparks.  He coordinated a festival for the North Hills Art League and is currently teaching classes at his studio.

 

Mr. Fiore was the featured artist with the Artists Resource program with the University of Pittsburgh, for all Pittsburgh Area High Schools; he was appointed by Congressman Mike Doyle to chair a committee to judge Pennsylvania school art for a show in Washington D.C. from 1995 to 2001

 

He is a member of the Pittsburgh Watercolor Society, the Pittsburgh Society of Artists and Miniature Art Society in Washington, D.C.  He is Fine Arts coordinator for Monroeville Mall and is founder and chair of the Penn Hills Arts Council and Eastern Artists Association and associate member  of the American Watercolor Society.
